A day with the shepherd, the flock and his cheeses

This is the experience to make you fall in love with these beautiful animals!
Let’s rediscover together an ancient craft, fascinating and full of values of the past. For one day the children become real shepherds in firts person in contact with animals, the discovering the environment and the surrounding nature and above the birth of an important and always appreciated food … and to see that milk does not come from supermarket!

Program:

Meeting in the morning at the farm
Departure on foot with the flock – short walk with stops for pasture (observation of fauna and flora)
Return to the stable and lunch break (brought from home)
This will be followed by a cheese workshop with all the processing stages (active participation of the participants to make the caciottina to bring at home).

Difficulty: excursion suitable for everyone (Cai E scale)

• Tourist tax in hotel in Montecatini to be paid directly to the Hotel: Economy Hotel and 3-star hotel € 1,00 | 4-star hotel € 1.40. Rates per person per night, excluding children up to 10 years

Cancellations

Cancellations without penalty 6 days before arrival
For cancellations from 5 to 1 day before arrival 50% penalty. Possibility to change the date if the hotel is available.
For cancellations from 24 hours before arrival, 100% penalty. Possibility to change the date if the hotel is available.
